The secret to sticking with a health and fitness program is finding ways to keep you moving that you enjoy. Working out with a group can add extra energy and motivation to your routine. Meet people, improve your fitness level and have fun. With over 50 group classes across 4 branches and something for all fitness levels – you are sure to find your way to move! Classes are included with your membership.

FitME & FitME Youth

FitME and FitME Youth (for ages 9-12 years) are complimentary one-on-one training sessions with a trained fitness staff member who will recommend an exercise routine to fit your personal goals. Routines can include your love of swimming, your desire to sweat out stress in a fitness class, your need for low-impact activity or your goal to find your strength with resistance training.

Youth Fitness Orientation

This orientation helps members ages 9-12 begin positive fitness habits in our fitness centres. By attending the 30-minute session with a parent, they learn essential training principles, what equipment and exercises are suited for them now, how to use them and what is expected in the fitness centre.

Virtual Fitness

FREE to YMCA-YWCA of Winnipeg members, our Virtual Y platform houses a library of on-demand fitness videos hosted by your favourite Y instructors! There are classes for all fitness levels varying from a simple 10-minute stretch routine to a heart-pumping H.I.I.T class with new classes added regularly! The best part is all these classes are available on your schedule.

Small Group Training Series

Get practical instruction and hands-on training geared to a specific type of workout. Learn how to get the most out of each workout type with the proper form and a mix of exercises. Day Camps

Camp is like no other childhood experience…and one that every child deserves a chance to take part in. They offer a welcoming environment where all children can learn and play in a safe and supportive setting through games, crafts, sports and swimming.

Wellness Wednesday Workshops

Join us every Wednesday for quick 30-minute wellness workshops to enhance not only your fitness training but your daily lifestyle as well. Y Winnipeg staff will explore a variety of topics that will include exercise tips, nutrition, sleep, hydration, mental wellness and meditation, just to name a few. Workshops begin at 6:00 pm at our Downtown branch and 7:30 pm at our Elmwood-Kildonan, South and West Portage branches.
