Your Y Winnipeg membership gives you access all Winnipeg community hubs*, plus participating YMCAs worldwide. Enjoy top-of-the-line equipment in our fitness centres, from TRX® to our exclusive EGYM® Smart Circuit.* Find cardio and resistance equipment, free weights, running tracks and full gymnasiums. At our aquatic centres, you'll find aqua fitness, lane swim, recreational swim and member-only swimming lessons (for an added fee). Take part in group fitness classes and sports, including basketball and badminton. Check out our community hub schedules to find activities near you. It's all part of your membership.

Family Fitness & Fun
Family memberships make joining affordable, even for large families. Fun activities, including Preschool Playtime, Family Fun Time, Kids Corner and recreational swim, plus features such as our play structures and waterslides* make visits great for young ones! Kids as young as 9 who’ve had a Youth Fitness Orientation with a parent may use the fitness centre with that parent. Additional children's programs are available seasonally. All members 13+ may enjoy the full use of all spaces from the gym to fitness and aquatic centres.
FitME is Support for Success
Whether you are just beginning your road to a healthier lifestyle, getting back to fitness after a break or are at a plateau in your workout – our trained fitness staff can help! FitME and FitME Youth are complimentary one-on-one training sessions with a trained fitness staff member who will build a personalized routine to fit your goals. Members 9 to 12 can also complete a Youth Fitness Orientation to get started in the fitness centre.
More than a Gym
While our community hubs feature all the amenities you'd expect from a fitness centre (and a few you might not, such as full gymnasiums and aquatic centres) it's our mission to deliver more than exercise. The YMCA-YWCA of Winnipeg is a charity that ignites the potential in people, helping them grow, lead, and give back to their communities. In addition to programs for fitness and water safety, we deliver important community support for mental health, newcomer services, child care and youth empowerment. As a member, your support helps create a healthier, more welcoming community.
