Moving Forward with Anxiety

If mild to moderate anxiety is impacting your life and preventing you from doing what you want or need to do, this group is for you.

What is Y Mind?

Y Mind is a free seven-week mental wellness program for people ages 13-29 who are experiencing symptoms of anxiety. This program offers the opportunity to learn and practice evidence-based strategies to better manage your anxiety and improve your coping skills. It uses an action-focused approach based on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Led by trained mental health professionals, Y Mind gives teens and young adults the chance to connect with others who are having similar experiences. As a participant in the program, you will also have access to the YMCA-YWCA health and fitness facilities throughout the program.
