Exercising in the water is a great way to strengthen, tone and energize your entire body – without putting any stress on your joints. Even if you don't know how to swim, you can still join us for Aquatic fitness. No swimming skills are required.

Membership has its benefits! Members can pre-book space 48 hours in advance, to secure a spot in any of our youth and adult drop-in activities – including aquatic fitness classes. Missed the pre-book window? You can still drop-in to participate in the activity however space cannot be guaranteed.

 

Our Aqua Fitness Classes:

Aqua Zumba®

The best of aquafit and Zumba® combined! Latin-inspired aerobic dance movements work with the resistance of the water to improve your health while having fun.

Aquafit - Shallow

This aerobic interval exercise class in shallow water offers a moderate-intensity workout. You will train and improve your strength, endurance, flexibility and balance. All levels are welcome.

Aquafit - Deep Water

Using the resistance of water combined with movement, this aerobics class in deep water provides a full-body workout while the weightless environment makes it easy on your joints. Control your own intensity level by modifying surface area, speed and force of movements. Great for beginners or seasoned exercisers! Floatation equipment is provided.

Shallow Water Running

Do you love running but your knees don't? Try our NEW Shallow Water Running class! This unique aquatic class gives you all the benefits of running without the harsh impacts of sidewalks and roads. Pool depth is set at 1.22m allowing participants to feel the pool floor and master proper running techniques.
