Child Care Programs
Infant Program
Caregiving routines centre on each infant's schedule and focus on building trust, learning, language, and social and emotional development.
Preschool Program
Children learn and thrive through play with our YMCA Playing to Learn curriculum while parents stay connected with our Weemarkable app.
Nursery/ Kindergarten Programs
Children continue to learn through play in care designed around school-based nursery/kindergarten programs.
School-Age Program
Children flourish through opportunities for choice and leadership, a focus on strengths, and a place to naturally develop skills and relationships.
For Youth with Additional Needs
Our After School Program is offered to youth ages 13-21 with diverse strengths, identities and support needs. Y Winnipeg works in partnership with the youth’s community to ensure a collaborative approach to reaching their goals. By focusing on life skills, including social, communication, and physical skills, youth build independance. Staff and students inspire each other, learn together, grow together. Everyone is included and everyone is welcome.
Your Child's Emergency and Health Forms
YMCA-YWCA of Winnipeg uses ePACT to securely collect and manage critical emergency information for all children registered in childcare, day camps and summer overnight camps. ePACT replaces the need to fill out multiple paper forms and ensures we have the most up-to-date and accurate contact and medical information in case of emergency.
ePACT is quick and easy!
Here are a few things you will need to complete your ePACT record:
- Health Insurance information or personal healthcare number
- Medical history
- Emergency or pick-up list contact information
First-time users will receive an email once their child has been registered into a camp or childcare centre to create an ePACT account. Once your account has been activated, you can click the button below to access your account and make any adjustments to the information when necessary.
