The YMCA Community Action Network (YCAN) is one of Canada’s national youth service initiatives, part of the Canada Service Corps. Our program supports chosen individuals 13 to 17 years old to select and deliver service projects to make a difference in their local community.

Building a Network of Service

In partnership with 9 other YMCAs across Canada, participants from local communities will be recruited and supported to successfully select, lead, deliver and evaluate their own service initiatives! Participants gain valuable experience, connect with the community and make a positive impact.
