When using our Downtown Y for community services, fitness programs or classes, swimming and drop-in activities, you are eligible for 2 hours of FREE parking per day! 

 

How it works:

  1. Park in the underground parkade beneath the Portage Place Shopping Mall
  2. Take note of your license plate number (do not pay at the parking stations)
  3. Register your plate at the Y Winnipeg Membership Services desk 
  4. Enjoy your visit!

 

A few things to take note of:

  • Free parking is for a maximum of 2 consecutive hours per day only. 
  • Vehicle must be parked in the Portage Place underground parkade. Street parking and outside lots are not included.
  • You must be using the Downtown Y facilities to take advantage of this offer.
  • License plate must be registered with Downtown Y Membership Service Desk when you enter the branch.

 

Y Winnipeg members are responsible for any additional costs associated with parking past the 2-hour daily maximum as well as any parking tickets and or tows.
Free 2-hour parking is applicable during Downtown Y operating hours only.
