In addition to co-ed classes, we'll have a James Naismith Basketball program just for girls ages 6-12 who want to develop their skills.

A special Intro to Singing Bowls event at our Elmwood-Kildonan Hub introduces the basic playing techniques and relaxing sounds of the ancient practice.

Program Types
Swim Lessons
Swimming is a critical life skill for all. We offer registered swimming lessons for members of all ages and levels, from the first introduction to the water with a parent to preparing for advanced certifications. Adaptive Swim lessons for youth with additional support needs and French lessons also available.
An added fee applies for registered swim lessons (teen and adult lessons, Come and Go Swim and Junior Lifeguard Club are free to attend). Read our FAQ below for more details about lessons.
Sports & Recreation
From gymnastics and karate to basketball and dance programs, we offer a range of options included in membership. Pre-school, kids and teen programs are available. Activities vary by location.
Certifications
We offer a range of certifications, including all the steps towards swim instructor or lifeguard certification as well as First Aid and Mental Health First Aid. Develop life-saving skills as well as valuable communication skills and confidence in handling different situations.
More Kid Stuff
Find more fun with our Kid's Night Out special events and day camps for school breaks. Both welcome non-member children to join in the fun at our Community Hubs.
Adult Specialty Programs
While most group programs for adults are included with membership, we offer a selection of adult registered programs.
We accept registrations in person, online or using our app starting at noon on the day registration opens. Your app login will be the same as your login for online registration. Before registration opens, you can prepare by making sure you can log in online, finding your favourite programs, and adding programs to your wishlist.
Registering as a member
As a member, you already have an account with us, linked to the email address on your account. If you did not provide an email address, contact your branch to update your contact information. If you have forgotton your password, you can select Forgot Password online to reset it. Once logged in, you will be able to add programs for you and family members once registration opens.
Registering as a non-member
If you have registered with us in the past, you already have an account. If you have forgotton your password, you can select Forgot Password online to reset it. Once logged in, you will be able to add programs not requiring membership (including Kids' Night Out, camps, Birthday Parties and some certifications) once registration opens.
If you are new to registering for our programs, simply head to our online registration and click Sign In/Up. Select the Join link under the Sign In button and fill in the form to create a new non-member account. If you are looking to sign up for swimming lessons or other programs requiring a membership, you will have to first join as a member. You can do this in-person or online by selecting your membership type here.
Use our swim level finder below to find the right lessons for your child. When you go to register, select the swim program type (Parent & Tot, Preschool Swim, Learn to Swim, Star Swim, or Adaptive Swim). A member of the aquatic team will assess all children at the start of lessons and group them in the class that best suits their comfort and skill level.

No! We have a large number of instructor-led drop-in programs for all ages. From group fitness classes to sports and children's activities, you can take part in ongoing activities without signing up in advance. Visit our Hub Schedules page for details. You will also find open gym times, recreational swim and more on your Hub Schedule.
Some activities that are included with membership can be booked by visiting the front desk of your Community Hub. These include FitMe, Youth Fitness Orientations and getting set up with EGYM.
