In our branches or in your home – we have your fitness needs covered! FREE to YMCA-YWCA of Winnipeg members, our Virtual Y platform houses a library of on-demand fitness videos hosted by your favourite Y instructors! There are classes available for all fitness levels and content varies from a simple 10 minute stretch routine to a heart-pumping H.I.I.T class! The best part is all these classes are available on your schedule. Like to workout at 6am? Prefer an afternoon? Or how about after dinner? Whenever you’re ready – we’re ready!
We also have a number of blog posts covering topics such as Smart Snacking Tips, Overcoming Barriers to Exercise, Equipment Alternatives, Overtraining pitfalls and so much more! Our goal is to continue to add more topics in the near future so keep checking back!
To access the Virtual Y site, you will need to be a Y member and enroll for the online programming. Once you enroll in the program, your account will have access to the virtual site within 24 hours (or less).
