Classes are included with your membership. Non-member guests can attend drop-in classes when paying the drop-in fee. 

 

Class Descriptions

An exciting strength and cardiovascular workout designed to challenge participants of all fitness levels. Instructors will use various equipment and timing techniques to constantly challenge and push each participant.  Join in anytime within the first hour to be able to complete the full circuit! 

Find your inner strength! This class utilizes a variety of exercises to improve your balance, back and abdominal strength.

A simple start to strength exercise. If you like the idea of working out with a group, but you’re worried about your technique or choosing the correct equipment, Beginner Strength is the perfect place for you. Here you will find the knowledge you need to work with dumbbells, resistance bands, and your own body. Discover your strength with a group that shares your goals! 

Get connected to your inner self through this class which combines Pilates, yoga and strength training that will challenge your spirit, mind and body.

Challenge yourself in this high-intensity circuit workout which uses your own body weight and a variety of fitness equipment. Our bootcamp is a powerhouse for strength, endurance, agility and stress management! Aerobic capacity and strength are two key components of physical fitness and this class lets you train both at the same time. Join us for the class that has it all!

Combing state-of-the-art cardio equipment and body-weight exercises, this class offers full-body moves designed to get your heart pumping and feet moving. Cardio Blast is circuit-based and takes place in the functional fitness area.

A full body Interval class alternating cardio and strength exercises in patterns to achieve effective muscle toning and calorie burning. All exercises will have varied levels of intensity choices for participants, making it a great experience for new and experienced exercisers.

Incorporating elements of boxing and martial arts, this high-intensity (but surprisingly low-impact) cardio class becomes a full-body experience. Great for improving your coordination and balance. 

Not just a traditional cycle class -- push yourself through a workout that incorporates elements of cycle PLUS more! You'll spend half the class riding up & down hills and sprinting to the finish line on a bike. The other half of class will be off the bike where you'll be guided through a series of exercises including elements of strength, balance, endurance, and coordination at varying intensities decided by your instructor. Be ready for something different each class!

Lower RPMs and longer intervals. We focus on hills and heavy leg strength. This class will be on and off the saddle to give you a variety of challenges for the body! 

This 30-minute class provides a time efficient and effective cardiovascular workout.  The instructor may lead participants through different cycling positions, simulate terrain changes and incorporate intervals of higher and lower intensity to challenge participants endurance and strength. A convenient way to get a quick cardio workout in. 

Our fitness centres are filled with all types of cardio and strength equipment which can be intimidating if you don’t even know what they are used for!  In this fast-paced circuit-style class, you will learn a variety of different ways to use some of the less conventional equipment such as TRX straps, Synrgy and Kettlebells. Don’t shy away from taking the next step in your fitness journey!

Low impact full body workout - tailored to aging adults that want a slower pace class with focus on form and function.

This 30-minute session is structured around a high intensity interval training (HIIT) approach.  During this class participants engage in short intense bursts of exercise followed by brief recovery periods. These workouts are known for their efficiency in burning calories and improving cardiovascular health

Get the best of both worlds with this cardio and strength conditioning class! This High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workout will utilize a variety of work-to-rest formats using both equipment and body weight exercises to challenge your muscular strength, muscular endurance, cardiovascular system, agility, power, and coordination. 

Need to get moving but go easy on your joints? Then this choreographed cardio class is for you. Great for all fitness levels!

A more relaxed approach to our classic ‘Total 20s’ class. This will give you some cardio, strength, and core work, but modified to accommodate participants of all fitness levels.

A certified pre/post-natal fitness specialist will lead you through a series of exercises to increase your energy, improve your posture, lessen aches and pains, and build a stronger core. Enjoy the benefits of exercise along with your baby in a welcoming community environment. Post-natal participants must be cleared by their doctor to start exercising again. 

Looking for something a little different? Join us for a full body 1-hour workout of the most effective weight room exercises – squats, lunges, curls, and presses - using a variety of weights to build strength and endurance. A specific sequence of exercises is taught to the tempo of chart topping music to inspire and motivate you!

Participants will move through a series of stations in a sequential manner completing a set of time or repetition at each station. This class is designed to provide a comprehensive full-body workout that combines cardiovascular exercises, strength training and often elements of flexibility or mobility work.

This class uses traditional bars and plates to optimize both strength and endurance training. A great option for all fitness levels.

This 45-minute fitness class has you stepping up your workouts using the steppers while incorporating strength training. A mixture of body sculpt and basic step choreography!

The ultimate indoor cycling virtual experience using real-time performance data such as heart rate, speed, calories and more! 3D technology will immerse riders in a variety of interactive sceneries making each class different and unique!

This class is a combination of Total Sculpt and Body Link – the best of two classes. Sculpt and tone your muscles using a variety of resistance training techniques and equipment to improve strength and endurance while working core muscle groups, then finish off the class with a combination of Pilates, yoga and strength training that will challenge your spirit, mind and body.

A 30-minute guided stretching class to release muscle tension, improve flexibility and help relieve stress. Your body will thank you as you leave feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Perfect for all fitness levels.

A great multi-fitness class for all levels of exercisers. You will train smarter and better using a variety weights and cables. Each exercise uses equipment you may not use every day, making this class a great way to add variety into your fitness routine. Give it a try and you will see what all the fuss is about!

Take it down a notch and still get the benefits of this great multi-fitness class for all levels of exercisers. Using the Synrgy equipment and a circuit-station format, this fun and dynamic class delivers a full-body conditioning class with joint-friendly movements.

Sculpt and tone your muscles in this total body conditioning class! Using a variety of resistance training techniques and equipment to improve strength and endurance while working core muscle groups, our trained instructors will teach you  exercises to engage and target specific parts of your body.

A HIIT inspired class with 20 minutes of cardio (bodyweight or equipment), 20 minutes of strength, 20 minutes of core.

Challenge yourself! Similar to circuit-training, this class will focus on increasing your heart rate while fatiguing out designated muscle groups. 3 exercises, 3 minutes each, no breaks. 

Push and pull! Using the TRX® suspension training system, this total body resistance training class uses ropes and various other methods of resistance training to increase strength and cardiovascular health.

This TRX style class will not only build strength while using the TRX suspension training for a full-body strength workout but you will also learn functional exercises using the battle ropes, kettlebells, and functional cardio equipment to rev up your cardiovascular health! 

Rest and restore. Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga with postures that are held for longer periods of time than in other styles. Meant to target the connective tissues of the body with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. As a result, the asanas (postures) are more passive holds, with little muscular engagement. 

Kaiut Yoga is all about biomechanical health (freedom of movement). It has been designed to work through chronic pain & injuries, general aches & stiffness, and work for the inflexible, hyper flexible and aging body. Unlike most yoga that emphasizes muscular stretch, Kaiut Yoga works from the joints. As such, it has a dramatic impact in countering the harmful effects of modern living. It uses long holds and specific isolated movements to create freedom in the physical system and energy flow.

Find your inner calm. Hatha Yoga is great for increasing your flexibility, relieving tension and allowing the body and mind to connect. This class is an introduction to basic breathing techniques, postures & relaxation exercises.

Reduce stress and increase a sense of well-being in this Vinyasa class which emphasizes the development of strength, flexibility, balance and grace through postures linked by the synchronization of the breath with movement. Develop and root your core muscles through a variety of breath techniques designed to leave you feeling calm, relaxed and centered. A challenging class open to all levels.

Everybody is doing it!  This Latin-inspired, calorie-burning dance fitness class is easy to follow and exhilarating – a great way to get moving and meet others.

Active older adults who are looking for a modified Zumba® class that recreates the original moves you love at a lower-intensity.
