2010 will mark the 34th anniversary
of the YMCA-YWCA
Winnipeg's Women
of Distinction
Awards.
The awards were inaugurated in 1977 as the Women of the Year Awards Dinner and renamed in 1991 to mark the 15th anniversary of this prestigious event.
Women of Distinction nominees and award recipients have enriched our community and inspired us through their creativity, leadership, compassion and dedication.
They have used their talents, vision and determination to make Manitoba a better place to live.
In 2009, we recognized contributions and achievements in ten award categories.
