Fitness Classes

You don’t have be a pro at the Y – we have fitness classes to suit people of all skill and fitness levels!

Our Group Fitness classes give you a chance to meet people, improve your fitness level and have fun. Members are encouraged to work at their own pace.

  • Karate

    There is so much more to karate than wax-on, wax-off! Karate improves strength, coordination and agility while fostering courage, courtesy, integrity, self-control and respect. Learn the fundamentals of karate movement and technique under the guidance of qualified black belt instructors.

  • Tae Kwon Do

    Kick, block, spar! Learn the basic techniques of Tae Kwon Do in a safe and fun atmosphere. Discipline, character, self-control and respect will be fostered under the guidance of qualified black belt instructors through skills that increase stamina, strength, focus and confidence.

    Get connected to your inner-self through this class which combines pilates, yoga and strength training that will challenge your spirit, mind and body.

  • Body Sculpt

    Sculpt and tone your muscles in this total body conditioning class! Using a variety of resistance training techniques and equipment to improve strength and endurance while working core muscle groups, our trained instructors will teach you exercises to engage and target specific parts of your body.

  • Bootcamp

    Challenge yourself in this high-intensity circuit workout which uses your own body weight and a variety of fitness equipment. Our bootcamp is a powerhouse for strength, endurance, agility and stress management. Aerobic capacity and strength are two key components of physical fitness and this class lets you train both at the same time. Join us for the class that has it all!

  • Climbing for Adults

    Participants will develop and gain confidence while they improve their fitness and agility as they tackle a variety of disciplines such as bouldering and vertical climbing.

  • Community Club

    Join us for a cup of coffee and some social time after your workout. A variety of health & wellness presentations will be offered throughout the year to keep you up-to-date and informed.

  • Core Strengthening

    Find your inner strength! Based on the principles of pilates, this class uses a variety of exercises to improve your balance, back and abdominal strength.

  • Cycle Fit

    Challenge yourself through this great cardio cycling workout that allows you to control your own intensity levels on your bike while pushing yourself further and faster.

  • Cycle/TRX®

    Combining the best of cycling and TRX,® this class mixes resistance training, which focuses on increasing strength, and the cardiovascular aerobic training of CycleFit.

  • H.I.I.T (High Intensity Interval Training)

    Challenge your endurance, power, strength, agility and coordination! Burn calories in this intense, fast-paced, full-body workout that alternates periods of short intense anaerobic exercise with less‐intense recovery periods.

  • Sit Fit

    Ideal for anyone with mobility issues, this joint-friendly class uses a variety of equipment like hand weights and resistance tubing to help condition and stretch your various muscle groups Exercises are conducted in both sitting and standing positions.

  • Step

    Step it up! Using moderate choreography, you’ll get a great full-body, calorie-burning cardio workout. Plus, you can easily adapt the step height to your fitness level.

  • Synrgy Fit

    A great multi-fitness class for all levels of exercisers. You will train smarter and better using battle ropes, TRX® suspension trainers, weights and cables. Each exercise uses equipment you may not use every day, making this class a great way to add variety into your fitness routine. Give it a try and you will see what all the fuss is about!

  • Synrgy Fit - Low Impact

    Take it down a notch and still get the benefits of this great multi-fitness class for all levels of exercisers. Using the Synrgy equipment and a circuit-station format, this fun and dynamic class delivers a full-body conditioning class with joint-friendly movements.

  • TRX®

    Push and pull! Using the TRX® suspension training system, this total body resistance training class uses ropes and various other methods of resistance training to increase strength and cardiovascular health.

  • Yoga - Hatha

    Find your inner calm. Hatha Yoga is great for increasing your flexibility, relieving tension and allowing the body and mind to connect. This class is an introduction to basic breathing techniques, postures & relaxation exercises.

  • Yoga - Vinyasa

    Reduce stress and increase a sense of well-being in this Vinyasa class which emphasizes the development of strength, flexibility, balance and grace through postures linked by the synchronization of the breath with movement. Develop and root your core muscles through a variety of breath techniques designed to leave you feeling calm, relaxed and centered. A challenging class open to all levels.

  • Zumba®

    Everybody is doing it!  This Latin-inspired, calorie-burning dance fitness class is easy to follow and exhilarating – a great way to get moving and meet others.

  • Zumba® Gold

    If you’re an active older adult who loves Zumba®, but you’re looking for a lower intensity, this is the class for you. Join us for this fun, choreographed class with easy-to-follow movements.

  • Power Combat

    An exhilarating 1-hour total body workout where the combo of martial arts meets chart-topping music. Learn how to punch effectively, kick safely and perform hooks and uppercuts like the pros!

  • Power Sculpt

    Looking for results? Join us for a full-body workout which uses the most effective weight-room exercises – squats, lunges, curls and presses – using a variety of weight to build strength and endurance. A specific sequence of exercises is taught to the tempo of chart-topping music to inspire and motivate you!

  • Power 30

    30-minutes of power is all you need! This athletic, time-efficient class combines high-intensity interval training with hit music to get your heart pumping and keep you energized.
