Youth Entrepreneurship Program

At the Y, we believe that everyone has the potential to do great things. Our Youth Entrepreneurship Program will help you learn entrepreneurial skills, develop a business idea using the Business Model Canvas (a one-page tool to outline a business model) and connect you with entrepreneurship support services and small businesses.

Program Components

Training is delivered over three weeks. The first two weeks are spent in the classroom (half days). Week three is dedicated to networking and connecting with entrepreneur support agencies and small businesses.


  • Youth ages 18-29 who are visible minorities, Indigenous, women or persons with a disability
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Have a preliminary business concept

Participation Requirements & Expectations

  • Regular and punctual attendance
  • Respectful behaviour
  • Active participation
