image reads: where because you care. masks mandatory as of sept. 2. image is an illustration of a person putting on a non-medical mask.

Effective September 2, 2020, masks must be worn by all persons while attending YMCA-YWCA of Winnipeg branches and programs, unless they are actively engaging in physical activity. This applies to all visitors and participants in our branches and programs except children under the age of 5 years.

At all times, and particularly when actively engaging in physical activity, everyone in our branches should make best efforts to maintain physical distancing of 2 metres (six feet).

If you remove your mask in order to perform physical activity, please ensure it is properly stored (e.g. in a bag or in your pocket) and do not hang masks on equipment or place them on shared surfaces.

You should bring your own mask with you when you come to the YMCA-YWCA. We will have disposable, non-medical masks available for purchase ($1 per mask) for a limited time.

If you have a condition that prevents you from wearing a mask, please speak to a member of our staff team.

Thank you for your cooperation.
