January 2019 Drop-in Fitness Workshops

Join us in the month of January for our drop-in fitness workshops! Open to members and non-members, these 4 workshops will provide you with tools and knowledge to support you through your health and fitness journey:
Have you ever seen a TRX strap and wondered what it’s used for? Individuals attending this workshop will become educated on the benefits of TRX, how to set-up and correctly adjust TRX straps, and how to perform basic exercises with proper form and technique.
Individuals attending this workshop will become educated about the benefits of foam rolling, how to foam roll properly, and which major muscle groups to target.
Sets, Repetitions and Weight
It’s no secret that resistance training is beneficial for increasing muscular strength and endurance. Common terms that are associated with this form of training include sets, repetitions, and weight. In this workshop, we will educate you on what these terms mean, how they tie in to one another, and the importance of designing training regimens that are specific to your fitness goals.
Metabolic Training and Fat Loss
One of the most common new year’s resolutions we hear involves individuals vowing to become more physically active, trim fat, and lose weight. In this workshop, our goal is to assist individuals achieve these goals by introducing a form of training known as “Metabolic Training” which specifically targets fat loss.
