When kids participate in a YMCA-YWCA experience, they have the opportunity to develop self-confidence, make healthy choices, feel connected and learn the skills necessary to become the leaders of today and tomorrow. And they find out what it takes to build strong families and communities. Your contribution to the YMCA-YWCA of Winnipeg Strong Kids Campaign will help enrich the lives of children and youth in our community.
Your generosity makes a difference for kids in our community and in the lives of kids in Tijuana, Mexico, with the help of our
partner there. Here’s how you can help:
• Your gift of $20
helps one child participate for a month as a member and provides an opportunity to build relationships and learn new skills.
• Your gift of $55
provides shelter, food, counselling and reunification services for one youth for one day at CASA, the YMCA’s home in
Tijuana, Mexico where kids, apprehended by authorities while trying to cross the border are safe and cared for.
• Your gift of $125
gives one child the opportunity to learn new things and have fun at a week of summer day camp.
• Your gift of $420
gives a child the magical experience of one week of residential camping at Camp Stephens.
• Your gift of $1000
opens the doors of the North End Wellness Youth Activity Centre for one day, offering 300 kids opportunities to make new friends, strengthen values and stay safe.
100% of your donation goes directly to support children and youth.
