Cancellation Policies

Memberships 

Cancellations must be received in writing seven (7) days prior to the next payment due date. Written notice of cancellation must be given by a method that will allow proof of notice, including registered mail, email or personal delivery to any of our four branch locations.

At the YMCA-YWCA of Winnipeg there are no locked-in membership contracts however we also understand situations can change.  Did you know that we can put your membership on-hold for up to 90 days?  A convenient option when planning your vacations. Or that your membership is valid at all four branch locations in Winnipeg as well as Y locations across Canada?

 

Registered Programs/Classes

Cancellations must be received in writing no later than 14 days prior to the start of the program or class in order to receive a full refund (less a 20% fee). No refunds will be provided for cancellations submitted after the deadline. All fees are non-transferable.

 

Birthday Parties

Cancellations must be submitted in writing no later than 14 days prior to the start of the birthday party in order to receive a full refund (less a $30 fee). No refunds will be provided for cancellations submitted after the deadline. All fees are non-transferable.
